Robert J. Shuttera currently maintains his own personal injury practice and is “Of Counsel” to the Law Offices of Zachary C. Smith in Clearwater. Prior to establishing his current practice, Mr. Shuttera spent time as a partner in LeValley Napolitano McMenamin & Shuttera, P.L. in New Port Richey and was one of the founding attorneys of Haddad & Shuttera in Clearwater. In addition to time spent as a personal injury litigator, Mr. Shuttera also serves as counsel for medical practices and as an underwriter and principal consultant to Client Legal Funding, CSC Enterprises, and Weston Reid.
Mr. Shuttera received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida in 1991 and his Juris Doctorate degree, Cum Laude from Stetson University College of Law in 1994. While still a law student, Mr. Shuttera received training in trial practice as an intern in the Civil Division of the United States Attorney’s Office as well as in the Office of the Public Defender in the Sixth Judicial Circuit. Upon graduating, Mr. Shuttera was employed as a trial attorney in the Office of the Public Defender in the Sixth Judicial Circuit from 1994-1996.
